Former New York Gov. George Pataki “says he’s serious this time, and has in fact shown signs that this time his flirtation with a presidential run is real,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
“A super PAC, ‘We the People, Not Washington,’ was formed in January to support a potential bid by Mr. Pataki, and a paid ad is now running on local television in New Hampshire. During the 30-second spot, the Republican criticizes his own party for focusing on social issues, instead of the economy and terrorism… Mr. Pataki has twice explored running for president since stepping down as New York’s governor in 2007 and he barely factors into polls on the early 2016 race.”

Three Republicans Really Have a Chance “At the end of the day, when you put all the assets and liabilities on the table, it’s hard to see anyone but Rubio, Bush or Walker as the ultimate nominee. Sure, one of them could stumble or come up short in a key early state. It’s also highly likely that someone like Huckabee, Paul, Cruz and even Perry could win in Iowa. But, when you look at the candidate vulnerabilities instead of just their assets, these are the three who are the most likely to win over the largest share of the GOP electorate. Winning the ‘Evangelical’ or the ‘Establishment’ or the ‘Tea Party’ lane isn’t how you win the nomination. Cobbling together the broadest coalition is the key." (The Cook Political Report)

Jebby Bush has embarrassingly fallen into single digits, trailing fellow Floridian, Senator Marco Rubio (13 percent support), Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (12 percent), and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul (10 percent). Bush is tied for fourth place with former Arkansas Governor and FOX TV personality Mike Huckabee, garnering just 9 percent support from potential Republican voters.

Don't forget Mr. FATHEAD BIG EGO (trump) plans to announce shortly. He already has campaign headquarters from what I've read and appears to be poised to toss in his hat (or comb over).

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder “may be the newest GOP candidate for the White House,” the Guardian reports.
“Snyder mingled with donors at a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas on Friday and told at least one attendee that he was a candidate.”

The Republicans have a deep, well-talented bench to draw from as the 2016 Presidential campaign gears up. On the other side, the Democrats have only an old retread who lacks the "new car smell" (according to Obama) but certainly smells of corruption and scandal.

The 111th Congress, which took office in 2009, was the oldest in U.S. history, with an average age of 57 in the House and 63 in the Senate. (The sitting 112th Congress is only slightly younger.)
At least the Republicans have a field of candidates to choose from. The Democrats only have Hilary and she is a flash back to Imelda Marcos (rich, arrogant, corrupt, married to a former president - but no real accomplishments of her own to run on).
BTW -- speaking of a "war on women" .. Hilary has been fighting won for years. She paid her female staffers less than the male staffers, accepts donations from nations that brutalize, mistreat or otherwise do not respect women ... and MOST importantly .. like Tonko supports unrestricted abortion on demand that victimizes the unborn baby (statistically - slightly more than half of whom are female) and the mother.
Another BTW -- Tonko still has never explained why he believes that abortion for gender selection should not be banned. The overwhelming number of babies aborted in gender selection abortions are female. Tonko voted against making gender selection abortion illegal in the US. Thanks to Hilary and Tonko -- the US joins a pretty small club (North Korea is in the club) of nations that allows the brutal murder of females in the womb due to gender selection abortion.

Wow, really interesting...but I believe Senders referred to the Rep Candidates and I posted some ages of the Rep Candidates. Guess you just wanted to jump in and have some fun so we all know how smart you are to inform us of information that has been told over and over in many venues....but hey, at least it was factual this time!

The average age of the Democratic House leadership is 64. It's 53 for Republicans. In America, Republicans are increasingly the party of older Americans. But in Congress, that's still the Democrats.Nov 18, 2014
