ROTTERDAM, N.Y. – Police are searching for one or more suspects who stole a car from a residence in the town earlier today.

Officers at the Rotterdam Police Department say they are investigating a burglary that happened inside a house on Long Avenue on Sunday morning.

Police say the suspects forced entry to a basement window and made their way into the garage. From the garage, the suspects attempted to pry open the entry door to the main living area, but were unsuccessful in making entry.

Officials say the suspects located the keys to the vehicle parked in the garage hanging on a wall and left with the vehicle.

The residents say they were unaware of the burglary until the noticed their car was missing this morning.

The vehicle is described as a 1993 Plymouth Acclaim, Maroon in color with gold trim, bearing New York registration BBL-2651. The vehicle has not been located.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact Rotterdam Detectives at 355-7397.

Crime is really increasing in the town, I don't think I ever remember so much in such a short time.

But people cheer for these leaders, getting photographed with them.

Oh, wait, the FBI says crime is going down.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
