I've seen recitals held at the Niskayuna branch of the library, there are usually a lot of cars there for them. I always assumed the performers were local young classical music students, but no (not that there is anything wrong with local students) these are the cream of the crop of the up-and-coming musicians, the next Yo-Yo Mas.
These are free to attend and are funded with grants and donations. If anyone has perhaps an older relative that can't get out by herself any more, this is would be a great thing to take her to on a cold weekend. You don't get the chance to have music of this quality performed right in front of you, for those of you who are into classical.
