Read in the Gazette today they are talking about making a park on Eastern Ave, near that old firehouse.

The city can't even take care of it's major park, i.e., Central Park.   And they are going to create another on Eastern Ave.  There is a playground just off Eastern, the lower section, the city can't take care of that one, it's in poor condition, overgrown weeds which the city financially penalizes homewoenrs for but the city doesn't take care of its own (Landon Terr and I think it's Windsor St), but they are going to add another park.

For sure this new park will be a great place for the drug dealers to cut through from the Hill into Vale into the Cemetery into Eastern Ave area and vice versa.  No more going all the way down to Nott Terr or up to Brandywine.

The city will be demolishing buildings at taxpayer expense, and permanently take what could be taxpaying properties off the tax rolls (thus yet another reduction to the tax base), and then create a park at taxpayer expense which then will need to be maintained at taxpayer expense.

Really bright idea, ya think?      Where are their brains?

Speaking of the old firehouse that's one of the properties owned by the city dem cronies, the LeGere's, and yes they are tax deadbeats on that building -- now let's remember how a certain cheerleader for the dems and the city stated that tax deadbeats cause the rest of the people to pay higher taxes, which is true, but address the FACT that yet another crony of the city leaders and plex is a tax deadbeat.

Doesn't change the FACT that the city CANNOT properly take care of the parks it has now...can't open the all the pools it has now... can't repair a bridge that has been out for two years...

Declining property values, taxes growing...

People walking away from their houses...

Yet instead of cutting services to reduce costs, the inept leadership not only is going to invest money to build a playground, but also the yearly sustaining costs to keep it maintained.

From a practicality perspective, this is one of the more stupid ideas I have heard from our leadership.  Let's dig an even deeper hole.  Unbelievable - really, at this point I am having trouble believing it is true because it is just that stupid.

It may be noble, but in a fiscal crisis, you don't look to extend your financial commitments even further.

Naturally you have nothing to complain about as you have two mommies to provide everything your gut desires.   Naturally a 50+ years old little boy who is not and never will be self sufficient, does NOT have to support himself, does not have to make real life decisions like the people in the city such as having to decide between paying the high city tax bill vs purchasing a new furnace, is going to cheer for others to pay higher taxes for all kinds of non-essentials.   The voice of POOP really thinks if he cheers for the dems and the city that he will get some do-nothing, no show job.  Go back to your basement where you can sit all night on websites like that I-taste and drool over something you will never have.

You are not even adult enough to carry on a discussion based on facts and evidence that the wild uncontrolled spending of tax money in the city is doing NOTHING to help the city as proven by the FACT that the tax base is massively plummeting, homeowners are losing money on their homes, homeowners are paying ever increasing taxes while essential services they pay for are being reduced and their tax dollars are going to billionaires who in turn give their kickbacks to the corrupt leaders in the city/co/plex.   But you are not adult enough to engage in  conversation about these facts.

Naturally, a non-taxpayer can not provide any evidence to support his statement that county taxes are lower than they were 50 years ago.

The 50+ year old with two rich mommies who has not yet grown up to be independent and self sufficient does not understand the term "fiscal crisis."   A 50+ years old who has two mommies to provide everything for him, and does not have to juggle mortgage payments, taxes, bills, and expenses of supporting a family, simply cannot understand the term "fiscal crisis."

How about the post is 100% FACT.   Properties coming off the tax rolls, creation of a taxpayer funded park when the city can't take are of the ones it already has.

Less revenue, more spending.

And again, 1,000% the TRUTH

And voices of full of poop don't realize that as the city fails, it spreads to the towns so for those of us who do not live IN the city need to be concerned about the city and state the truths.

The voices full of poop, as you will notice, REFUSE to live IN the city!  Wonder why?

Always remember his campaign promise to stop concentrating on downtown and working to revitalize the neighborhoods.

He must have been shooting heroin at the time.
