No Boxy, you are the one who is lost. It's only a problem with you now because the bitter Dems decided to politicize it. No Dem had a problem signing off it, both openly and behind closed doors.
The Dems published this report to prevent any other administration from using the Bush Torture Policy as a precedent. I find it almost impossible that any charges will ever be brought against the Bush Torture Team. I like the idea of a presidential pardon, which implies a crime if it needs to be pardoned. Hopefully a pardon of a crime would keep any future president from reviving the Bush Torture Policy. |

Your so full of bullshit that you must 'moo' when you talk. Waterboarding and other 'enhanced' methods have been banned and deemed illegal by the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005. You remember that, right Boxy? Don't you remember when Bush signed it into law after it was passed by both the House and Senate? So, in essence, your now crying over things that happened WAAAAAAY back in 2002/03 that were made illegal in Dec. '05.

Are you stupid?...Oh wait, your a Grubagger, so yeah, you are one of those 'Stupid Americans' NO LAW WAS VIOLATED SO NO PARDON IS NEEDED. Like I said, this biased, flawed report was released because the Dems are bitter that they got their asses handed to them. |

You can always tell when Bucky figures he has a weak argument... it usually contains a few insults! If his facts aren't valid...at least he figures his insults will sting! From the very beginning and to this day... The Bush Torture Policy included 'waterboarding'... since they didn't consider it TORTURE! Pass all the torture laws you want, they just redefine torture.

The Act sets the Army's standards of interrogation as the standard for all agencies in the Department of Defense. It prohibits all other agencies of the U.S. government, such as the CIA, from subjecting any person in their custody to "cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment." NOW FOR THE GOOD PART: However, the Act does not provide detailed guidelines that spell out the meaning of that phrase. In an effort to provide clarification, Congress passed legislation in 2008 (NOT IN 2002 OR 2003)to similarly constrain the intelligence community to the Field Manual's techniques.
Torture officially ended in Jan 2009, shortly after Obama took office: The executive order said that prisoners "shall in all circumstances be treated humanely and shall not be subjected to violence to life and person (including murder of all kinds, mutilation, cruel treatment, and torture), nor to outrages upon personal dignity (including humiliating and degrading treatment). (AGAIN, HERE IS THE GOOD PART) " It also specifically nullifies interpretations of federal law on interrogations "issued by the Department of Justice between September 11, 2001, and January 20, 2009" under President George W. Bush. |

You can always tell when Bucky figures he has a weak argument... it usually contains a few insults! If his facts aren't valid...at least he figures his insults will sting!
If a few insults constitute a weak argument, then you have lost most every thread you have ever posted in with your derogatory remarks (Teabagger anyone?). This report cost $40M and was sitting on a table for five years. Amazing that 'all of a sudden it needs to come out'. Don't worry dinosaur. They'll take care of you, they promised. |

Consider this when you look at the Bush Terror Program: "CIA operatives tortured Nazar Ali, an mentally challenged man, who was never suspected of terrorism. He was imprisoned and tortured only so that his “taped crying” could be “used as leverage against a family member.” Torturing an innocent handicapped man to put pressure on his parents... IF YOU BUY INTO THE BUSH TORTURE PROGRAM, THEN YOU CONDONE NAZAR ALI'S TORTURE. |

This is not political affiliation, this is a national conversation regardless of the terminology.... police brutality allowed under 'legislative laws' CIA torture allowed under 'homeland security' I really don't see the difference.....the problem is that regardless of political affiliation it is 'acceptable' while we all sleep safely in our warm beds...... should we be glad of our safety should we be glad of our freedom |

If your president's AG doesn't prosecute Bush and everybody involved in the tortue program, then you support a president that condones Nazar Ali's torture. |

Obama as a matter of policy ended torture
Drones are torture of entire communities. Obama kills without due process. He has done just as much to destroy the reputation of America as any other President. |
