Ironic

While people were there speaking about how bad the city has gotten, particularly speaking about Mt Pleasant, a murder occurred.   And another was stabbed

CHEEER CHEER RAY RAY, the city is in a renaissance - so says the democratic voices full of poop.

Bridge Street

No wonder someone left his mommies' parish and goes out two parishes in the suburbs.   Much too dangerous to go to church there.  Won't put a pinky toe IN the city

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

In response to TIB's rhetorical question on one of the renaissance news threads, no, closing bridges does not appear to help.

I just posed the question because if you look at the trouble areas they are usually located in areas where the criminals can move about as they wish.  Also if you look at the areas that have been isolated by the crime are usually buffered by either a large facility, park, business, river or railroad.

the area is full of drug dealers.
Every drug addict knows that.

Sometimes the victims are innocent, like Eddie Stanley and that young lady who was shot sitting in a car, and the cops are the only ones who do care, aside from the family.

they do care but are pushed by their 'owners' (aka politicians) to make the city look better than this forum/facebook and
anything else so that it looks like they are doing something....the officers some good some bad have to move forward...
they ARE pawns and the chiefs need to keep the 'owners' happy....remember CONTRACT.

police forces are NOT government employees, they are security companies
