How about this news?

Quoted Text
Property taxes in Saratoga County are expected to decrease slightly next year under a budget that is driven by the sale of the county’s nursing home.

Not Schenectady Co, they and their cheerleader are all for the socialist way, and tax the homeowners until they lose their homes.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Saratoga had zero property tax increases. Unlike Schenectady is the tax hell hole!

Continuing that news item:

County leaders on Monday released a tentative $296.8 million budget for 2015 that would lower total spending by 5.2 percent from this year if the county sells its Maplewood Manor Nursing Home in Ballston Spa by Jan. 1, as it expects. The plan would reduce the county’s tax rate by an anticipated .009 percent, keeping it at $2.28 per $1,000, one of the lowest in the state.

And Schenectady is MORE THAN DOUBLE Saratoga tax rate.    Property values in Schenectady are falling.   Property values in Saratoga are increasing.
