Actually its a video of what he doesn't believe in which is fine but I find it hilarious. If you are atheist good for you but why would you bother making a video on something you don't believe in and expect to have others take you seriously. Would anyone here watch a 12 minute video of me explaining why I don't believe in Leprechauns, chances are not one person would watch it to the end just like I couldn't watch this video to the end. Like all religions I do believe atheism is a religion, at least for the militant ones it is. These types spend hours on atheist sites and other blogs trying to spread their beliefs, hmmm sounds like they're going against what they say they hate about religion I should also mention how these militant atheist love to spend their money, they go around and buy ads and billboards for something they don't believe in, yeah sounds a little crazy doesn't it. I wonder if this guy would donate money to me for a billboard that mocks the believers in Leprechauns, what about you box are you wiling to donate for the cause?

Henry's got it backwards. Kind of like a typical Conservative who rants and rages against Global Warming... SOMETHING HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN!

What exactly do I have backwards, are you saying I should devote my life to something I don't believe in like Leprechauns? Should I spend my valuable time and money to convince people they don't exist, nah that's ok have fun, I got better things to do then to worry about then what other fairytales people believe in

Yes, disproving leprechauns is a valuable life mission.
The guy misses the mark as far as the root cause of what bothers him about religion. His problem seems to be the use of the state to push religious beliefs. Logic tells me the state and organized government is the root cause of his disagreement with the religious. He seems to have no problem with the religion of science and HIS life philosophy pushed by the state. Who really cares if people believe in leprechauns or fairies, or a god?

Lets see... I doubt you'd have time to "DEVOTE YOUR LIFE TO BELIEVING IN LEPRECHAUNS... It would take too much time away from "DEVOTING YOUR LIFE TO GUNHUGGING!
I posted an informative video on a subject that many people don't understand. I didn't notice anyone (except you) mentioning DEVOTING THEIR LIFE to anything in the piece. IMO the video goes far in clearing up misconceptions on the issue.

Science can be measured and quantitative while religion is not. A government using science can say we'll make this saction illegal because it costs this many lives/money/whatever having this effect on society. A government using religion says this action is illegal cause God says so.
There really isn't a compassion.
And out of the 15 things he listed only one, maybe two had anything to do with the government.

What subject? you either believe in a higher power or you don't, there is nothing to understand. He could have posted a 3 second clip and simply said "I don't believe in God", good end of story have a nice day. Nope he goes on a rant about why, so my question is why would he waste so much time doing this video and editing all the words in it for something he doesn't believe in? The answer is because like many religious people he is fckn nuts and him being a militant atheist is being apart of a religion. He tries to deny that in the video but the truth is it is, he has made it his goal to spread his belief, need proof just look at how many hours this guy has spent trying to convince us of something he DOESN"T BELIEVE IN
Face it box this guys life is based around something he doesn't believe in, he is just as nuts as the wackiest evangelical he loves to bash LMAO

What a strange view! SO.... If you and your right winger buddies posted on Obamacare... YOU WOULD BE POSTING ON WHAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN! If you posted on global warming ... YOU WOULD BE POSTING ON WHAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN! If you posted about the minimum wage... YOU WOULD BE POSTING ON WHAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN! If you posted against gun control laws... YOU WOULD BE POSTING ON WHAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN!
You do seem to miss the point. Many people don't understand his view and his video explains what atheism means to him. Why are you so threatened by this one persons personal view of god???

Not threatened at all I'm just amazed someone would dedicate his life to something that he believes doesn't exist. I don't believe in man made global warming thus I don't write stories and make videos about it, why should I bother as long as the government doesn't force me into believing it is real? My best friend is a atheist and I don't know any religious person who would give him a hard time because he doesn't push his views onto others, to him it is what it is and he has better things to do with his life. Me I'm religious but my beliefs are my own, I don't go to church or spread the gospel because it is what it is. Now what you aren't grasping is the fact that some atheist are extremist, they love to push their views on others, they look down on non-believers (of their cause), they rally around their own version of the cross , and now they even have their own churches

I think there is some confusion about the wordd BELIEVE. Most people throw the word around like a cheap suit.
Believe- to trust or rely on. And to what degree??
Billy Graham used the analogy- if you were over the side of a cliff holdi`g the end of a rope- you believe the person holding the rope on the other end will not let go.
An athiest must rely on something else. They trust themselves- at least while they are young and healthy.

But religious people do give atheists a hard time. Atheists loose their jobs, they're discommunicated from families, they are accused of immoral acts, their children are isolated. They are not allowed to just live their lives without belief and be left alone. Science classes are affected by the religious views, medical research is effected by religious briers, people's civil rights are affected by religious views, a women's right to choose are affected by religious views. When religion stops pushing its views on those who are atheists then atheists will stop having to explain at length their feelings about religion.
And gathering to talk about ideas and opinions doesn not make something a church. Religion is the belief in a supernatural being(s). ATheists do not believe in a supernatural being. Just because some are more outspoken, pushy or extreme does not change that it still not a belief in a supernatural being. Sport fans are extreme but football is not a religion and the stadium is not a church.
Just as some atheist give religious people a hard time, it goes both ways. That is why I don't push people into my belief and why I'm against democracies.
Atheists loose their jobs, they're discommunicated from families, they are accused of immoral acts, their children are isolated. They are not allowed to just live their lives without belief and be left alone.
Why would religion be brought up in a work place anyways? No job I ever had has asked what religion I am and frankly it is none of their business. And explain to me how atheist are not allowed to live their lives and just be left alone, I know atheist who do just that. Nobody forces them into religion just like nobody can force me not to believe in a higher power. Sorry Parent but atheist are not anymore of a victim then anyone else.

When religion stops pushing its views on those who are atheists then atheists will stop having to explain at length their feelings about religion. .
Again you are wrong on every count, most science started its roots in religion, just like most medical research as well as modern hospitals started under religious backings, look at most hospitals even today and look at their names. A women's right to choose has nothing to do with religion, being pro-life has nothing to do with religion, I'm pro-life but I take that issue from a moral standpoint that all life is precious and I don't need the bible to tell me that. So yet I have not heard one way in which religious people are forces their views onto others, and just to be clear I would be against that behavior as well.
And gathering to talk about ideas and opinions doesn not make something a church. Religion is the belief in a supernatural being(s). ATheists do not believe in a supernatural being. Actually the atheist called them churches not me, talk to them about it because frankly I see it as hypocritical myself.

Again... you seem stuck on the phrase "DEDICATED HIS LIFE"... He made a video explaining his views. That's it. Some guys make a video explaining how they catch bass... Did they "DEDICATE THEIR LIFE" to catching bass???
