Well I guess we'll just have to disagree on this.  Your interpretation is flawed (as I've pointed
out), and could never succeed or achieve a positive change. It would result in disaster on
many fronts, including and especially crime.  Rioting and looting would be common place.
Theft, home invasions would be the norm. Streets would be unsafe no matter how many guns you might
own or carry.
FIRST - it would NEVER get this far!!

If you insist this is the solution, then follow your own suggestion and let us know how it works.
Maybe you can give us an example or two of how this has worked in any other society, past or present,
that has provided positive change without penalty!

It appears that another poster posted how it has worked in the past.
And I already said that when we feel the taxes are too high, home value goes down, can't sell it (for where we live)....they will get their tax bill with the keys to my empty house. TRUST ME....WE WILL DO THIS!!!

You are assuming it's a taxable investment.

I'm confused...assuming "what" is a taxable investment?

The money invested anywhere outside an escrow account.

Our taxes aren't escrowed and the money is in a money market...getting a decent return.

Still confused....how does that tie to my comment (pay more income tax),
which by the way was a joke?

Was interpreting your comment to mean your returns on invested money would be taxed.  Believe me, I read it a few times to makes sense of it.  Apparently the joke went over my head.

Sorry, maybe you missed another thread where someone claims they pay their property taxes late
because they have more money removed from their income taxes intentionally so that they get a
larger return to pay their property taxes with. That's what my TIC comment was about because
you were identifying better methods of earned interest.
