We only ate once at the IHOP (shortly after it opened) and were very disappointed with the poor food, poor service and general disheveled appearance of the restaurant.  We have been to IHOPs in other states and found the food, service and appearance to be MUCH better.

Didn't notice until yesterday that it's another boarded up building.  Yep, more boarded up closed up businesses thanks to your beloved McThief.

Hey, speaking of your beloveds.  How's your beloved Randy at Dolce Vita.  Did you know he still has the same outstanding state tax warrants AND two more have been added this year, one for his Dolce Vita restaurant, and then a new one for another business of his.  In total he owes about $175,000.  Nice, huh?   Oh, that's ok, the state taxpayers can make up the loss of a tax deadbeat.

IHOPs in general are not known for having the greatest food.  On top of that the one Woodlawn was poorly managed and the service sucked.

We went to that IHOP once with the kids when it first opened and they never asked to eat there again. THATS MY SIGN to never visit again, if my kids won't eat it....

Blue Ribbon is our go to place for quality food, and its the only place to eat on State Street from Balltown all the way down to Proctors.

Naturally, DV eats pancakes, very healthy.

"We....."   That means you and your two mommies?

You continue to prove that you are an ignorant, dumb-a**.  IHOP doesn't just serve pancakes and one can choose other items on the menu.   And, even if I did choose to have pancakes at 1 meal meal on one day out out of 365 days in a whole year -  a) there is absolutely nothing wrong or unhealthy about that, and b) it is none of your business.  Obviously, you are mentally disturbed.

"We" -- that means my extended family -- because we do get together to celebrate each others' lives and enjoy each others' company.   Obviously, you are jealous of that.

Jealous?   Jealous of someone who is 50+  years old and is not a normal adult, can't stand on his own two feet, is not independent and not self sufficient?  WHO would be jealous of any 50+ year old who hasn't yet left the next, who is unable to be independent.

One meal at IHOP, in a year, sure, not much, but add all the other places you state you're two mommies take you out to dinner.

It's quite obvious you are the jealous one, jealous of the people who actually are adults, self sufficient homeowners so you cheer when the city/co/plex makes decisions that will make the homeowners lose their homes due to high taxes, that will bring those people down to your level as the people will be dependent on a landlord mommy.  Jealous of those who have wonderful love lives with a spouse and children, as making them pay the taxes of the rich will cause them to have financial problems which in turn can lead to arguments and divorces, then they will be as single and lonely as someone you know very well.  Just keep cheering for more wild uncontrolled spending of tax money on the political cronies and young people, upon graduation from college, will have to continue to be dependent on their mommies (and daddies) like someone you know.

My wife and I have aunts, uncles, and cousins, we enjoy each others lives and each others company, but our get-togethers are not spent eating.  We enjoy each other going biking together, some of us hike, tubing is fantastic even better than water-skiing.  Meeting up with my sister and her husband for a late autumn morning run is both exhilarating and great social time.  Or taking a charter trip to Loudon or spending an action packed weekend in Dover with cousins in their RV, these two are great time to enjoy each others lives and company.  Yeah, we have our pool parties and that one does involve food (bbq).

Certainly nothing to be jealous over a 50 year old who hasn't grown up yet

You are always better off going to Gibby's, Farmer Boy or Top's for breakfast/brunch (those 3 are the absolute best - in that order).  Blue Ribbon is pretty good, too.  The only chain-type breakfast place that is worth going to is the Waffle House and then, only, if you know which ones to go to (Havre de Grace, MD, Biloxi, MS, Galveston, TX and Americus, GA locations are topnotch) and which ones to avoid.

On that we can agree.  It is the only place that I know of that offers Grapenut Pudding for dessert.  We are so happy that the new generation of owners/managers have kept up the quality of food and service that Gibby and his wife provided for so many years.

The neighborhood is in freefall. No one can compete with Blue Ribbon over there.

Woodlawn is closed for business. Maybe some more park improvements? Cohen's Furniture and dozens of other businesses have disappeared. Another City neighborhood
business district that used to be. Like Eastern Ave, Van Vranken, Crane St and Bellevue. But the block around Proctors sure looks swell. With your money.
