My guess is none of you are trying to talk your kids into joining the military ...

Who would talk their kids into joining the military???
If he/she needs to be 'talked into' joining... then they shouldn't be joining.

If a draft was instituted to fight ISIS, I have a sneaky suspicion that the public opinion on the level of the threat would plummet.  As long as people can sit on their couch watching stock video of Arabs in black hoods waving a black flag, they will be convinced that they are hiding in the bushes ready to kill them.  Once their kid was drafted, then they will realize those people are 5000 miles away across an ocean, fighting in their own civil war.

Stability in the middle east, or most anywhere else in the world is in everyone's interest.  Iraq,or Syria
or Israel or N Korea or Lebanon or Somalia...  More effort in diplomacy would result in less effort
by our military.

Nope.

Yeah, ask the people having bombs dropped on their heads and blowing them out of their assholes.  They probably want more stable people in the US.

Order out of chaos...When an imperial power disagrees with the order in another nation, you create the chaos then you bring YOUR order to the chaos.  The order is established by the victors.

You  sound more desperate. Maybe you think we cant tell the difference  between  documented barbaric animals killing and butchering people with an intent of extermination  and the people and countries trying to stop the killing.

necessary force is reqired to stop mayhem. You are somewhat confused because your ' live life as a statue ' pretnding to be a concerned citizine ,prending if WE Just stop shooting - just stop helping people who have asked for help-

you are a poser. Prentending to have solutions. You are slowly being revealed as the dangerous one-because you have solutions for nothing.

Where do you come up with this stuff?  You still haven't answered if you are sending your family member to Iraq to stop the barbarians creating "mayhem".

In the 1990's, the USG put sanctions on Iraq that resulted in the death of 500k innocent Iraqis.  Do you consider sanctioning medical supplies causing the death of hundreds of thousands of people a barbaric act?  Please...Explain to me how civil that policy is.

Thenin 2003  the USG bombs Iraq with a "shock and awe" campaign indiscriminately killing thousands of more innocent people.  Iraq was an otherwise stable country before the USG blew it apart destabilizing the entire Middle East and now spilling over into Styria and Turkey.

And after all that, the dummy Americans are still perplexed as to why these people continue to fight the US government.

But, I guess you believe if the USG can just kill more people and destroy more infrastructure, they will win over the people in this region and they will soon realize the the US is the "good guy" bringing civility to these barbarians.  And doing it one BOMB at a time.

it's not that I have no solutions, it's that my solutions are not bombing, killing, and subverting other countries.

When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

Sombody, I think your flight leaves soon.  Get your gun and combat boots and go and civilize those barbarians.  You are your brothers keeper.

Death and violence plus more death and violence equals twice as much death and violence.

You fuckking war mongers keep calling anti-war posters dangerous threats.

As you fully support exterminating all threats without due process.

No wonder the world hates you.

The Native Americans were a threat too.

Until they were neutralized by superior firepower.

My mistake...I didn't realize you were already in the Middle East helping fight ISIS, and being your brothers keeper.  When you say "we", did you bring other family members with you to help?
