doing repairs where the DEMS say so......and no other way......make sure their roads are not full of potholes .....and easy on the shocks...
now they have to get CSX to fix the crossings in the right way....every year...it's the same thing......and every year it's repaired so they can repair it again...

While I may agree with some of the other negative aspects of our towns infrastructure I do feel that the government has consistently kept our roads in above average condition for a very long period.

No. I am NOT shortsighted. Water district money does NOT go to pay for any of the things that you stated. It is in a separate account and used to maintain, repair and, eventually, replace the water system. The only time money is transferred from the Water district account to the Town's general account is to pay for the hours that town employees worked on maintaining and repairing the water system within a district.
Back to the topic of the thread - the Town is doing summer road work this year just as it did 50 years ago.

No. I am NOT shortsighted. Water district money does NOT go to pay for any of the things that you stated. It is in a separate account and used to maintain, repair and, eventually, replace the water system. The only time money is transferred from the Water district account to the Town's general account is to pay for the hours that town employees worked on maintaining and repairing the water system within a district.
