Mayor McCarthy and his team are doing a great job in the city. Keep up the good work.
Oh where oh where is DV to explain how the mayor is doing a great job????? Massively falling tax base, falling home values, falling home sales, falling home sale prices, reduction to VITAL services to taxpayers, increase in taxes, taxpayer funded handouts to millionaires, tax handouts to tax deadbeats (Marcella). Massive increase in vacant rental units, massive increase in vacant houses, massive increase in abandoned house, blight spreading through the city like wildfire. Neighborhoods becoming ghosttowns
And now, gas leaks AT CITY OWNED PROPERTIES !!!!!!!!!! But DV claims the mayor and his team are doing a wonderful job.. Oh, must not say anything bad about the city. Just keep turning away from all the problems, if people ignore them, the problems will "just go away." What a joke this DV is
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
The stalker strikes again. Two threads and he follows DV like a lost puppy, just waiting to smack him with a rolled up newspaper.
"I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix,"
Not knowing how close the two buildings are, I'd have to speculate that if there is another leak it may have been caused by the first explosion.

Truth hurts huh "oh the mayor is doing a wonderful job," and "cheer" for all the wild uncontrolled spending on downtown. And "county taxes are lower now than in the 70's" --- but ask to prove it and doubtful he even knows what a tax is.

NO DOUBT...earlier this year a national grid contracted company was going thru woodlawn house to house checking on gas pipes....not sure if they did the hill houses or not...
its time they did check them all
and "the puppy" usually is not the one with the newspaper
That contracted company checking Nat Grid gas piping stopped by my house a couple of weeks ago, central state area. Nice kid, he also checked all my other piping not owned by Grid. He said they're only responsible for checking Nat Grid's piping to the 1st connection out of the meter. I think it is an every 3 year deal, new thing. Might be tied to a rate increase they're looking at, not sure 100%.
