Second - you and your ilk defended the deadbeats and absentee owners who haven't paid their property taxes and thus forcing everyone else to pay more
1. Marcella forces everyone else to pay higher taxes due to his 100% tax exemption on his new appliance store location on Broadway.
2. Marcella forces everyone else to pay more, i.e, higher taxes, due to his being a DEADBEAT, who hasn't paid his school taxes thus, in DV's very own words "forcing everyone else to pay more."
Notice that the EVIDENCE has been posted, from official records, image from the Schenectady city school district website itself, proving Marcella is a DEADBEAT. It's not enough that the taxpayers were forced to bestow a brand new building on him. It's not that the taxpayers are forced to pay higher taxes to pay his tax bill on his brand new building. This DEADBEAT is forcing the taxpayers to cover the school tax bill too!
Does anyone know the status of his city and county taxes on his "old" properties. Is he a deadbeat on those too? The dems seem to want that kept a secret, they won't publish the public information.

We need to get this information, with the evidence, to people in the city, somehow. I'd guess the newspapers wouldn't print this stuff.
So print out the page showing delinquent taxes and go to the county site and print out the info about "wholly exempt" from that and share it with everyone you know in the city
People need to be squeaky wheels. Personally, except for the larger back yard here in the town (with ample room for deck, pool, shed, outdoor furniture and the ability to have a fireplace in the yard), we wouldn't mind living in the city, but not with the taxes, the theft by the city from homeowners, the crime, the blight, the ever decreasing necessary services, the dangerous dogs, the dangerous drug dealers, to name a few.
But we'd NEVER move into the city to pay so much money to benefit the city leaders, their millionaire cronies, and the kickbacks the city leaders are getting at the expense of the financially struggling homeowners.

Owns half dozen houses in Schenectady city. Delinquent in school taxes back to 2011.
Three are 2-family houses, two are apartment buildings (unsure of how many apartments but property classification would ay minimum 4 apartments, and the other may have a residential unit in it. If the guy rents for an ungodly low rent of $600 a month per unit (excluding the "converted res bldg."), the number of residential units he has would generate an income of over $100,000. But unable to pay the taxes? Even if only half the units were rented, the income is still $50,000 a year.
But he can't pay the taxes. Oh, he has to have money for his posh palace in Nisky, another family who wouldn't dream of living IN the city.

Audit takes Schenectady school district to task Friday, September 5, 2014
SCHENECTADY — The Schenectady City School District hasn’t been paying off its yearly temporary loans, costing it ["it" meaning the TAXPAYERS] more than $824,000 in interest and fees over the past three years, according to a state audit. [/b] The state Comptroller’s Office released the audit Thursday. It criticized the school district for spending much of its savings and for borrowing more than it could pay back each year.

Metroplex got over 33 million to give away to those non-taxpayers, while we get the bill for almost a million in interest, to make up for the shortage.
