What this city needs is a good cleansing -- to get rid of the dip shits (a.k.a nayboobs).
So you think it's better to cover up all the rip offs of the taxpayers?
Do you believe it is OK for taxpayers to be forced to pay for a position that is NOT in the budget?
DV, do you believe it is appropriate for taxpayers to be forced to pay for an employee who has no qualification for a job?
Come on DV can you tell us. Do you believe that it is appropriate for a person to be an assessor OR a "deputy" assessor when the employee has absolutely no background in appraising the value of property????????
Well?????? Why is it you can only respond with nonsense babble????? Why do you REFUSE to engage in INTELLIGENT discussion based on the FACTS.
Obviously you are becoming more embarrassed every time you read about yet more truths, more cover-ups, more theft from the taxpayers, more corruption, etc.
We are NOT being negative. Rather WE are the ones working to build up the community. WE are the ones who are working to insure that taxpayer money is spend to help the taxpayers, help the neighborhoods where the people live, and NOT to be spent on millionaires who get exempt from taxes and then give kickbacks to the city leaders.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
gee when your done cleaning us dipsh*ts out who will pay for you pals tax exempt propertys downtown?
The only "tax exempt" properties are owned by churches, not for profits and government entities. So apparently, you are advocating that we tax those properties.

PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE Show us the tax BILLS of the Marcella's, Villia Itallia, Proctors, Bow Tie, Bombers, Mexican Radio, and all the other gin mills downtown.
Come on DV, you are being challenged to provide evidence of what you speak.
OK, DV, tell us what the word "WHOLLY EXEMPT" on the FOR PROFIT properties downtown means then?????
Tell us DV, typical households in the city making $40,000 a year, please tell us why they have to pay their own taxes PLUS cover the less than full bills of the millionaire-owned proeprties downtown,

You cannot even engage in intelligent discussion of this thread!!!!!
The topic of this discussion is, it proper for the city to appoint someone to the position of assessor who has no background whatsoever in appraisal, valuing property, real estate, taxation and the like.
And YOU, DV, YOU are the one that claims no one carries on a discussion on these boards. So again, how about engaging in discussion on the use of taxpayer money to pay salary for someone who has no background in the position.
Perhaps, DV, you can tell us what the qualifications of the deputy assessor is?
How about a discussion about the lack of such a position in the city budget for 2014 and suddenly there is such a position. At which council meeting was there an amendment to the city budget to create such a position and fill it?
DV, would you are to discuss this? Of course not, you are the biggest offender of lack of discussion on these boards. You only copy and paste from plex and dem lies and propaganda but you NEVER provide ANY independent answer, no research, no EVIDNCE to prove what you say.

That is not true, you know damn well many businesses in this city are tax exempt, the proof is there to show it and has already been shown numerous times on this site, if you can show proof otherwise I would love to see it.
