Are you talking about the kid or the cops?  There was a police cruiser parked in his neighborhood with enough firepower to kill a few dozen of his neighbors.  Suburbanites in Rotterdam get their panties in a knot when the code enforcement officer harasses them.  Imagine if they had a continued presence of two armed officers parked in their housing development, keeping an eye on them, "keeping them safe".

Oh and don't forget the surveillance cameras on Central State Street, in Hamilton Hill, Vale and Mont Pleasant neighborhoods.  

I'm sure you have surveillance cameras on your street.

Surveillance cameras have solved crimes including homicides.  

And, which housing development on Craig Street has two armed armed officers assigned.  There certainly isn't a housing development on Craig Street, and if there were, there would not be two cops permanently assigned to it. So, I ask again - where is the housing development on Craig Street and how are two officers permanently assigned?  

Most people in the City welcome the cameras and want one in their neighborhood. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy in the areas where the cameras view.  And, the footage is not permanently stored.  

Where is the community uproar over the cameras and these alleged two officers?  Or, is the City's police deployment to be restricted simply because Cicero finds it offensive?

Cicero didn't find offense to it, the 14 year old pointing the toy gun at the cops obviously does.  

BTW...Do you have those surveillance cameras in your neighborhood to help solve crimes?  

that's a sad state when cameras are 'welcome'.....very very very sad
