While homeowners are struggling financially to pay almost the highest taxes in the country, and while their home values are falling in record percentages, and while people are underwater on their mortgages in the city, and while homeowners cannot have nice landscaping and lawns and flowers because they can't even afford to make necessary repairs (often under threat from the city about violations and financial penalties), what is happening?
The taxpayers are being FORCED to pay for "pretty projects" by the main liabrary. Oh, it is just oh so important to have flower pots there, right? New planters, trees. Yep, $200,000 of TAXPAYER MONEY GETTING WASTED.
When is Metroplex going to give the taxpayers some of their money back so homeowners can make necessary repairs to their own houses????
