Open borders cannot work without the strict recognition of private property rights. You can't allow unlimited immigration and dump them onto the public welfare system and expect the collective to fund those government welfare programs through forced taxation to foot the bill. If the immigrants were buying property and producing for themselves like what happened during the 1800's and 1900's, that would be a bit closer to the open borders I believe you are talking about. But to put a generation of immigrant children on welfare, you are creating a generation that will only know welfare. Which will lead to a cycle of generational welfare.

The borders are already defined too. There is a process for citizenship too. There is border security in place. Why is that easily disregarded, but taxation is a forgone conclusion? If the government can ignore the borders and allow tens of thousand of immigrants onto public assistance, than certainly those who will feel the affects living in the border states, can ignore the taxes to fund the public programs.

I'm all for the freedom to travel, but you better be capable of providing for yourself. I'd love to travel to many places in the world, but I can't, because I CANT AFFORD IT. I don't need the government to stop my freedom to travel(which they would do if I could afford it), my financial means does.

Nationalism? I'm fine with immigration. So long as the immigrants that enter can support themselves. It's you that wants to mandate that everybody assist those immigrating. I say immigrate all you want. But it isn't cheap. It wouldn't be cheap for me to immigrate, even to a 3rd world country, let alone a developed country.
If that is your belief, than corporate welfare is ok too, since they can justify it because they will create the jobs the immigrants are working.

Well, that is because any addition money spent on social welfare has to come from somewhere.
I know you hate corporate welfare. Name one corporation that cost you a nickel? Of course you can't, it's hidden in a giant budget and you could never look at your paycheck and say "I lost $100 this year. That damn corporation".
