why would we add a second water main????? - we have added any new houses - just apartments and they provided no drain on infrastructure

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. -The Town of Rotterdam experienceda water main break.
The break occurred in the vicinity of 321 Princetown Road at 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.
The town is experiencing road closures at the following locations: Princetown Road from Five Corners intersection to Wellington Avenue, Mariaville Road from Five Corners intersection to Phillips Street, and Curry Road from North Wescott Road to Five Corners.
The Rotterdam Water Department has been notified and is working to correct the problem.
The Schenectady County Department of Environmental Health has issued a boil water order for all of the Town of Rotterdam as a precautionary measure in response to a water main break.
