Poor Denise.

City claims her house will sell for $125,000

She and hubby list it May 14, 2013 for $134,000

By November, asking price dropped to $105,000

No buyers because people do not want to live in the city

So she's going to make it available for rent.

No one even wiling to rent.

Listed for sale again as of yesterday, June 10, 2014 with an asking price of $109,000.   Gee, no one would buy it for $105,000 but she and Coldwell Banker think it will sell for $4,000, especially in light of falling home sales, and home sale prices massively falling, down to $84,000 as of last month?

Come one, where are the cheerleaders for the dems and the city - they don't even want her house?

Just more evidence of the ghost town that Schenectady is becoming under the past 10 years of leadership.

It's a dead end behind the cemetery at King's Rd and Albany St.

I hope she remembers to cancel her Star tax exemption on the property since she no longer lives there.

$109,000 home with taxes of around $6,000 per year.

Good luck with that.

If she stops paying taxes and rents it for $1,583/month she will get her $109,000 in just 4 years.

It will probably take 5 years before they take it, so she could earn even more than she wants by simply giving up.

You can add the Petta home on Front St. that is up for lease and assume still up for sale as well.

Wow, yes, it is up for sale.  Gee, he bought it in 2008 for $250,000 and under the city's dem leadership, the evidence shows falling home valus.

They put it up for sale March 2013 asking $239,000, price has dropped to $209,00

Wow.   But some people claim the city is improving, it's in a renaissance.   Notice how silent they are on this "outside Rotterdam" topic lately.
