The final paving of Erie Boulevard is being done and the whole project looks great.  More exciting new economic development announcements to come in the weeks and months ahead along Erie Boulevard and throughout the City-County of Schenectady.

The RENAISSANCE continues.

It isn't any of your business where I shop or do business on any street.  Suffice it to say, I am on Erie Boulevarevery week at least 6 days and, often all 7 days.  And it looks great -- and it bothers the nayboobs that Erie Boulevard along with the rest of the City-County of Schenectady is getting better every day.
Look for more great news to come soon.

So what new businesses have you heard will be on Erie blvd, all I heard lately is the ones that are closing or closed.

I can't get used to that island in the middle and it looks nice now. And I like the old fashioned lamps. But someone mentioned Wendy's and I haven't noticed if you can turn left to go in there or is that blocked off by the island, it's not a regular stop but ever so often. Or do you have to go on the highway and go around?

You can use the U'Turn option at the end of Erie Blvd. toward GE.   No need to use 890.

Yes Erie Blvd. is now a smooth ride.   So much so that a few commuters have been heard to remark, it is so much nicer now driving through Sch'dy on our way home to the suburbs.

It is obvious that the people making the snide comments haven't actually taken the time to look around and support the MANY businesses in Downtown Schenectady.  If they did, they would know that there are a lot more businesses along Erie Boulevard than Wendy's and Sunoco.
And pretty soon, there will be quite a lot more businesses and offices down there.

When I know I have to go to Schenectady, I run into a tough choice....

Do I take the risk of damaging my Koni Sport suspension (with Eibach springs) on the black car or my D2 suspension (fully adjustable coilovers) on the yellow car?

it was mentioned by an employee for the State (plowing).....it is going to be a "B" plowing snow.....not only will you plow but have to shovel the sidewalks

and guess what....there will be a bottleneck and traffic jam everytime it snows...especially the way the city plows......

this person stated......."they will use "golden" plows and that is where the focus will be....never mind the rest of the city....

Typical response when he cannot provide a specific answer.

I will guess that where he goes on Erie Blvd is Wendy's, his figure is reflective of it.

So DV, what can you buy in downtown Schenectady at these MANY businesses you claim are downtown?????   Other than the taxpayer funded government gin mills and all the fattening foods you love, tell us what can you buy downtown????

Oh yeah, I forgot, there's the junk shops

Oh yes, there is a book store with a VERY VERY SMALL selection of books and for which you will pay higher prices (of course you have your two rich nannies to pay high prices for books for you if you were to even read; most people in the city cannot afford to pay the higher prices for the books because they have to pay the taxes of millionaires downtown who can more than afford  to pay their own taxes.
