The cops arrived at the hospital, not the crime scene.
SCHENECTADY — Police are investigating a pre-dawn shooting that wounded two male victims early Saturday.
Both victims were shot once in the leg. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The victims, neither of whom was identified, told police they had been on the 1000 block of State Street, near a Dollar General store. The victims were initially treated at the emergency room of Ellis Hospital, where police arrived around 2:30 a.m.
The victims were later taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital.
No arrests were reported.
Police said that neither victim was cooperating with the investigation.
