So there is this Dharam Hitlall who has just won a seat on the school board.   CONFLICT OF INTEREST   This person needs to be booted off the assessment board before Tuesday.

The members of the school board have to vote on resolutions for tax certiorari cases.  So Hitlall will vote to deny a reduction in assessment, then what happens come the school board meetings?

And of course we know that Mary D'allesandro Gilmore is the wife of the guy who owns an architect firm in the city who is the favored firm with all the taxpayer funded projects (although getting sued by Galesi over the DSS building).

She will not vote to reduce assessments because she is a realtor working for the mayor to keep those house prices high in trying to sell houses in the mayor's HOMES program.

Additionally, she and her husband STOLE from the homeowners because they had two STAR exemptions, on in Montgomery Co and one in Schenectady county.  Now, as a realtor Mary Mary KNEW FULL WELL what the laws are regarding STAR and sitting on the board of assessment she is also mandated to know the state law regarding STAR, yet SHE LIED, and she is the one making decisions on assessments in the city?

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
