You are - plain and simply - an ignorant, jack a**.  You resort to FALSE personal attacks because you can't carry on a civilized, intelligent discussion.  Besides that you are a coward who hides behind your user-name.
If you are too immature to accept the fact that other people have different opinions than you and your ilk and happen to enjoy living in Schenectady - that is your problem. I suggest that you seek professional help for that issue.

I have NO problem meeting you man to man...name the place and time...

What is false below?
Do you have GAINFUL employment?
Do you own the dwelling you live in?
Are you living with two women that are essentially supporting you?

Can you counter ANY of the statements about Schenectady that I listed previously?
for review, they are the following:

The city's tax base continues to go down
The real estate tax rate continues to go up.
The percentage of Schenectady school students getting free or assisted lunches continues to go up (indicative of low income households)at nearly NINETY percent.
Home values in the city and County continues to lag all comparable surrounding counties...

The simple FACT is that nayboobs will complain about problem and make vicious personal attacks (for nayboobs are emotionally insecure bullies) on political leaders over those problems.  Then when the political leaders actually DO something about the problem, the nayboobs will complain about the propose solution and make vicious personal attack on political leaders.
The simple FACT is that making improvements to Lower State Street is not only necessary but long overdue.

The fact is the Nayboobs are the taxpayers that you preach hate about every day.

As a non-homeowner in Schenectady County you are not one to judge.

Is preaching hate for those who actually finance the county something your church teaches?

Is that what your training has taught you?

To attack those who are suffering under the elitist brainstorms of the rich Gods of corporate Schenectady that you worship?

You are a disgrace.

Well, I went and asked DV in a civilized manner, if he could please explain how the city is getting better.  I tried to carry on an adult intelligent.  I referenced that people can have an opinion, since he used that phrase about people can have a different opinion, which I can respect.  But in a respectful, civilized way, I requested basically that he explain is opinion, to explain how he arrives at the conclusion (his opinion) that the city is improving when the tax base is falling, property values are falling, home sales are falling, prices falling, taxes increasing and no businesses in the city at which to buy anything.

I asked him in a respectful way to PLEASE explain his opinion and alluding to his providing information to support that opinion, i.e., evidence.

I even thanked him in advance.

I trust we all notice that he totally avoided engaging in an adult, civilized, intelligent discussion that would require evidence to support one's opinion,

Instead, he resorted to nonsense babble.   And once again, we remember that he sits on a committee in the town engaging in discussion that affects all of us.  God forbid

His response will simply be that he will dance with joy as the nayboobs lose their homes so that he may honor his corporate Gods.

Let the renaissance continue as we celebrate the demise of the filthy nayboobs who won't willingly give their homes as a sacrifice to the corporate Gods.

He must want everyone to lose their homes because his parents never owned a home in the city, and he also has never owned a home, and one has to wonder why, when his parents were still alive, he was living with the two nannies, over 20 years ago.

because you can't carry on a civilized, intelligent discussion.

And dV, I know you only pretend to have us on ignore, but I tried to carry on a civilized, intelligent, adult conversation, in a respectful way.  You referenced people having opinions; so I asked if your comments that the city is only your personal opinion and in a respectful way I asked if you could explain your opinion in view of the annual falling tax base, falling property values, falling home sales, the massive increase in foreclosures, the blight spreading like wildfire, the  increased taxes combined with elimination of services, and the elimination of attention to the neighborhoods where the taxpayers actually live.

I didn't rant, I asked you nicely, respectfully, and thanked you in advance.

You look for civilized intelligent conversation, we look for it with you, we provide facts, and you STILL avoid conversation.   It just seems that we provide evidence contrary to your claims the city is getting better, so instead of you engaging in civilized discussion, you just avoid comment altogether.

Do you do that during the town committee meetings too?

Again...Name the place and time

As far as your ignore list...LOL... if you truly had one...a list of people that didn't buy your line of unsubstantiated bullshit, you'd end up talking to yourself on here.... which I suspect is not the first time you've have done that..

But that list is nothing but a LIE, just like most of the stuff you post on here.

Gee, what is your real name Ronald L Severson vs the user name?    You hide behind a user name as well, hypocrite.  It's only because some years ago you blurted out who you were.

And my wife and I are using our REAL NAMES   Why aren't you?

He was too chicken to meet you, huh?   Not surprised.  He won't face anyone.

Speaking of the paving on State St, Councilman Riggi, the ONLY representative of the taxpayers, spoke tonight at the council meeting about the atrocious condition of the streets, he listed many in Bellevue and mentioned that his wife's car suffered damage that could have been $400; fortunately he was able to make repairs himself.

Then he said he spoke to Carl Olsen who said people should drive slower.  Can you believe that, a high paid department head who does NOT pay taxes in the city has the balls to tell people to drive slower?   Guess the new speed limit will be 15 or 20.

Councilman Riggi said the roads are so bad people will start getting stopped by the cops for suspicion of drunk driving (due to weaving around potholes and what not).

More EVIDENCE that the dems leading the city are basically saying to the homeowners, "screw you, you don't matter, your neighborhoods don't matter to us."

But DV cheers for taking money from the homeowners to spend on State St paving, even if the neighborhoods where the taxpayers live are totally ignored.  DV has NEVER said anything in defense of the residents and homeowners and how they suffer.

And today there is a story in the gazette how the city is working to fill potholes and they are blaming on the long cold winter.

Meanwhile, the cities all around us have long been finished with filling their potholes.

But the city is going to spend over a million for a couple blocks of lower Street paid for by the homeowners in the city.  The streets where the homeowners cause damage to the cars , but the downtown part of State st with properties owned by millionaires who are tax exempt get paved.

And the massively falling tax base, falling property values, falling home sales, falling home sale prices, and increase in taxes are the result of the dem leadership, combined with the people putting houses up for sale and fleeing the city before they even list the houses.  Yes, and DV REFUSES to speak about all the empty houses.  And of course the abandoned houses and blight spreads like wildfire through the city, but a certain cheerleaders claims the city is improving.  So much economic development he claims, if that's true how come people are not buying houses, not on their dishwasher and maid jobs.   But then we see the cheerleader avoiding residence IN the city at all cost but he REFUSES to explain why he won't live IN the city.  Doesn't want to cause damage to nannies' car

That's isn't that much for paving is it? I thought my brother in law said it costs a lost to do just a few hundred feet, like the street we are on could use it but it may be a few years to it gets done because of the cost and the city wouldn't want to do only part of the street.  Don't they do paving in cycles like if it's a 20 year cycle, I don't know what it is, but it if was, a street will get paved today and then not until it's that street's turn again in maybe 20 years. Sorry I am not an engineer
