Yep, the city is in a renaissance. Families should be moving here in droves, right? In the afternoon, at a time when school children are getting off buses and probably playing outside.
Schenectady, a great place for innocent children to play on a Thursday afternoon. Cheerleaders for the dems would say it is.

Schenectady
City detectives say an argument between two groups of people on a city street Thursday afternoon resulted in shots being fired in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood. There were no reported injuries and no arrests have been made.
Police say that after the initial squabble at Sunset Street near 2nd Avenue, some of those involved left — only to return a short time later.
Shortly before 2 p.m. police said, that a white man in his 30s wearing a red shirt and black pants removed a handgun form his waist and fired at least one round before speeding away from the area in a car. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Schenectady Police Department at 382-5200, ext 5617.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
