Rhode Island’s governor has declared May 1 a
                       “Day of Reason”
to recognize the state’s nonbelievers.

Quoted Text
The Humanists of Rhode Island and the Secular Coalition for Rhode Island requested
the proclamation, which the Friendly Atheist blog said is virtually identical to others signed
by the mayors of Charlotte, N.C., and State College, Pa., and some members of Congress
last year.

The proclamation claims the application of reason has “proven to offer hope for human
survival upon Earth by cultivating intelligent, moral and ethical interaction among people.”

The secular groups say they’re planning events to coincide with the National Day of Reason,
which are being held in parallel with the National Day of Prayer on the same day, to highlight
the “persistent threat” to the separation of church and state.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Cissy is against EVERYTHING that involves his our government.  He's even against
"cultivating intelligent, moral and ethical interaction among people.”
In Cissy's world, " intelligent, moral and ethical interaction among people” is always bad.

HELP YOU OUT!!!  I've been trying to teach you for years... I doubt there is any "HELPING YOU OUT".

You could try, "intelligent, moral and ethical interaction among people” but you prefer to sit on
the sidelines and watch everyone else run your govt.
If you were concerned with GITMO, then you'd do something about it... instead you just type!

I'll vote for Obama.  Since he campaigned to close it.  See...Voting does make a difference.

There, I feel moral and ethical, since I cast a vote with the good intentions of closing Gitmo.

YUP!  Another Obama failure.  It wasn't worth the effort and political capitol it would have taken
to do the job.  Obama had to fight the PARTY of NO to pass his HISTORIC HEALTH CARE ACT
and couldn't burn important resources on GITMO.  Instead he opted for affordable health care
for 8 million Americans.
It's too bad that he couldn't do both.

So... what are you doing to help close GITMO Cissy???  Did you write your congressman, or hold
a rally or petition the senate??? Donate your time or your $$$ to your cause??? ANYTHING???
Oh... you just typed... pissin and moanin all the way.
