What a joke that event for Union College was.  We DVR'd it and virtually no one along the "parade route."  No high school bands form the area.  No float,  no organizations marching.   The part at city hall was nice, but it was reported to be1,000 people in attendance.  That's less than half the student body of Union College.

But yep it was a photo op for the mayor, his dem council people, and his crony at the chamber of commerce.  But wait, Mr Galesi was not there!

Pitiful that the mayor snubbed the people of the capital region by insisting on rushing the parade only a few days after the win.

More EVIDENCE the mayor and his dem council do NOT care about the people of the city.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

It's worse than that. The people there were old time Union College supporters and many Youth Hockey kids. The rally should have been on campus and away from the DEM morons who want to
illegally tax a great educational institution. It's was a DEM photo shoot with all the usual suspects in attendance. Taxin Tonko, Mayor in waiting Peggy King, McCheese, John Moonboot. The event was ruined by
endless political speeches from idiots that wouldn't know what end of a hockey stick to pick up. So Schenectady so pathetic. Most of the crowd ran off before the end.
