A 42-year-old Saratoga Springs woman is accused of assaulting a man in his home and stealing his SUV. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call for help at 8:44 Sunday night, and found a 62-year-old man in his home with a serious puncture wound to his chest and blood on his head. He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and is in the intensive care unit, listed in stable condition. Police located the missing SUV and the suspect Stacey Walker in downtown Schenectady on Monday. She was arraigned in Malta Town Court and charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree grand larceny. Walker was taken to county jail on $25,000 bail.  |
