Ummmm....I do pay taxes...What about those that do not pay taxes? I think you just endorsed my prior post. Thank you!
Those who do not pay taxes... and most Americans do pay taxes, are partially or entirely subsidized by their government.... Just like Cicero.

Donald Trump told CNN that if elected president he would replace Obamacare with “something terrific.” When pressed for details, Trump explained that the “terrific” would be handled by private companies competing in the private market.
What Trump, and all the Republican candidates are saying is that they will repeal ObamaCare and Replace it with what we had before ObamaCare. NOTHING!

USA Today: “Competition among insurers offering plans on the federal health care exchange rose between last year and this year, tamping down growth in premiums, says a federal report released Thursday.”
“The report says 86% of people eligible for qualified health plans on HealthCare.gov had access to at least three insurers this year, up from 70% in 2014. Nearly 60% of U.S. counties saw a net gain of at least one insurer, 8% saw a loss, and 33% saw their numbers unchanged, the report says.”
“Competition affected how much people paid for their plans, the report says, with premium growth between 2014 and 2015 for benchmark (second-lowest cost) silver plans 8.4 percentage points lower in counties that gained insurers than in other counties. In fact, a net gain of one insurer was associated with a 2.8 percentage point drop in the rate of benchmark premium growth.”
“The average growth rate in the benchmark premium was 2%, the report says.”

Obama-care is such a good deal that now after I've retired I have to fight to keep my health-care policy which I was promised for life when I retired. The company wants to pass the cost of their provided health-care down to the employees and retirees because they say it costs too much now due to the Obama-care mandates.

Of course that is what your company will say... And you believe it???
US corporations have been cutting health care since the GWB days... and it will continue.
However, if you are looking for a better deal:

More Proof That ObamaCare Is Working... GOP Panics!
Quoted Text
“The number of people without health insurance continues to decline and has dropped by 15.8 million, or one-third, since 2013,” the New York Times reports.
“The decline occurred as major provisions of the Affordable Care Act took effect. The law expanded coverage through Medicaid and through subsidies for private insurance, starting in 2014. In the first three months of this year, the National Center for Health Statistics said, 29 million people were uninsured. That was seven million fewer than the average for 2014, after a reduction of 8.8 million from 2013 to 2014.”
“The data may bolster Democrats’ claims that the law is working as they intended, but it is unlikely to prompt Republicans to let up on criticism of the law, which was passed without any Republican votes.”

you still don't get it....having the mandated health insurance doesn't mean you can afford it(changing spending habits) nor does it mean you get the same care standard just because you do....
I will tell you that the standard is on the inside of the system and the public is just as ignorant about that as it is ignorant about the federal reserve, tax code, banking laws etc etc.......
but as long as we use hollow terms like 'decreasing uninsured' everyone feels so fu(king happy.
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
“It is tempting to treat the lack of specifics in the Republican health-care plans as a problem of details to be filled it. But it is not a side problem. It is the entire problem. They will not finance real insurance for the people who have gotten it under Obamacare, nor will they face up to the actual costs they’re willing to impose on people. The party is doctrinally opposed to every available method to make insurance available to people who can’t afford it. They have spent six years promising to come up with an alternative plan, and they haven’t done it, because they can’t.”
