SCHENECTADY — A Sunday fight turned into a 3-on-1 assault that left the victim with a stab wound to her shoulder and one of the attackers arrested, authorities said.
The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Hulett Street, near Albany Street.
The victim told police that there was supposed to be a fight, but she was supposed to fight one person. Instead, two other women joined in on the opposite side. All three then punched and kicked the victim.
The victim also suffered a deep stab wound to her left shoulder, which required stitches to close. She was treated at Ellis Hospital.
Only one of three has been arrested. Jaquana M. Goines, 24, of 799 Albany St., faces one count each of second-degree group assault and second-degree assault, felonies.
