Yes I drove down it yesterday, its a disaster and a accident waiting to happen. You really have to drive in the other lane or risk some serious car damage. Me and Cicero brought this up the other day.

But State St and everything for the downtown millionaires and political cronies is for sure in excellent shape.
The taxpaying residents, the city says "screw you."

I took a detour down Hamilton Hill to Bway to avoid that stretch of road. I was driving down that awful road twice a week to drop my wife off at jury duty but the car was taking a beating going down that hill.
horrific road conditions....bridges closed......sidewalks in need of repair.....WHAT A MESS!!!
NEVER saw anything like it!!! REALLY!!

Altamont ave from the City line to where it ends at the intersection of Hamburg is no better.. people going the other side of the road to avoid the craters... All part of the Renaissance!

Yes! This is my neighborhood and I drive it daily. It is the worst it has ever been. I can't hep to wonder if the heavy trucks and machinery used to take down The Avenue haven't helped to contribute to the problem.
Driving around the city this weekend was particularly bad bit was difficult to tell what was a normal puddle and what was massive cavern about to consume your whole car!
Sad thing is that the city cant even temporarily fill in the largest holes in the road with cold patch. There is a huge one on the corner of Wendell and Rugby that is highly travelled. Some of the largest on Millard should at least be done. Corner of Union Ave and Gillespie. Corner of Union Street and Gillespie. Corner of Wendel and Union Street. It would take no time and money to significantly improve the driving experience here in the city. They just dont care!

I am in this wonderful city of Schenectady almost every day and I can assure you that these comments are just nayboobs jealous of the wonderful job the mayor and company are doing, the nayboobs tell lies because the roads in Schenectady are in fine shape thanks to the wonderful city leaders and how wisely the budget and spend our taxpayer dollars.
Seriously?
