Gee, the city's website listed one of those galas for the mayor's taxpayer funded real estate business.
But he did not update the houses on tour today.
And there is no listing in the paper today for the mayor's home tour (at least I've looked at that section 5 times and just don't see it).
And they mayor didn't even have the common decency to post something on that HOMES page to say that it's cancelled.
But the newspaper has a city ad (i.e., taxpayer paid) for the upcoming attempt[ to bribe realtors into trying to sell houses in the city.
Imagine, the city of Schenectady has to actually do all kinds of taxpayer funded bribes to get people to buy a house in the city and STILL houses are not selling!
Look in the homes for sale section of the paper today, there might be maybe 5 houses in the city listed for open house.
The realtor do NOT want to spent the money to advertise city houses when they (the realtors) are not going to get a sale

Remember that dopey speech, something about "people will see that I was right", or something like that? Well, haven't we seen enough proof that he was wrong? When we he put on his big-boy pants and admit how foolish he's been? The post I made about property taxes, I was gratified to see that those remarks were made by someone with a nationwide audience. This website has a very small audience, and with the new rules, it is even smaller. It is not that I expect people to see this, it's just that sometimes I feel very alone here arguing against the horrible money decisions being made in Schenectady, and how so many people are fooled. Seeing commentary on the sadistic confiscation of property by someone outside of here gives me hope that this could possibly be seen by more people for what it is, before it is too late for the city.

Perhaps McMayor is finally acknowledging that there ain''t nobody buyin'...perhaps?

Open house today in my neighborhood for a house just on the market, another one about to go. People want to get out from under the yoke of oppression. Move in, and you get to help pay back money you didn't even borrow, that went to rich people.
Mayor McThug needs to publicly admit that his H.O.M.E.S program is one big BUST! McThug is fooling himself if he thinks anyone want to buy and live in City of Schenectady! His stupid press conference with Schumer on broadway blaming owners for burnt out houses and begging Schumer to fast track the 3 million dollar HUD loan so he can have something to show for as if he is doing something about the blight because he knows that he will LOSE THE 2015 MAYORAL ELECTION ON HIS FAILED H.O.M.E.S PROGRAM AND THE 1,200 FORECLOSED CITY OWNED HOMES THAT ARE OFF THE TAX ROLL BECAUSE MCCARTHY WANTED TO JAIL ALL THE ABSENTEE LANDLORDS!

He wont' do that anymore than DV will present any evidence of the count taxes being the lowest since the 1970's.
