for real property data, typed in my address, and checked comparables and sales. Nothing. Have to go back to sales from 2006

So I'm looking at houses on my street there, my house built in 1905 assessed $51,000 listed as average/fair.

Three houses down the street built in 2007 assessed In the $85,000 range and listed as average???????

And was told by the acting assessor I cannot compare my house to ones sold in my area, guess not cause none sold.

So now I look up houses for sale comparable to mine in my zip code, only one is almost exact and the asking price is $35,000 a block away from me.
Next is a duplex asking price $25,000
and finally a house on Victory ave alittle newer than mine with one more bedroom and one more bath, asking price $10,000

So the house where they are asking $35,000 is assessed at $82,800

The one asking $25,000 is assessed at $49,700

Nice racket they have going. You can't compare your house to anything. Guess what? Property that no one will buy is worth zero.
