I'm a bit confused here. These are MBA students........yes?
I'm guessing that they know ALL the facts....high taxes, fees, crime, schools...blah blah blah...
And yet still think it's a wise way to invest your money?

Are they getting paid to do this?
We have relatives in college who are doing work for companies...eg:GE....and they are getting paid.

So the top real estate agents, banks and government can't do it so..................they are putting 'young lipstick' on this pig.....yes?

Hey, these students are not homeowners in the city who are experiencing getting notices about financial penalties for house numbers of the wrong size.  They are not homeowners who have been writing out a check to the city and the school district for the past ten years.  These students are not homeowners who appeared before the board of assessment with a list of 25 or 50 comparable houses in their neighborhood that have sold for 30 to 50% less than their assessed values only to have the board members say "denied, insufficient data."

Wonder if these students will go to speak to owners of houses that have for sale signs on them to ask the owners why.

That house over on Lexington that is being advertised as "priced $40,000 below assessed value", hasn't had any takers. I wonder why. Maybe these graduate students can explain to potential buyers why it's a good thing to buy a house overassessed by that much. To me, that would be foolish to do, but I'm not a graduate student so what do I know?

The one that didn't appreciate from 1990. We mentioned it on here before. Zillow is claiming it's foreclosed now.

Funny how these DUMB M.B.A students didn't cite the grossly high over assemment as a reason for the FAILED H.O.M.E.S PROGRAM. How much is McThug spending in the Gazetto for H.O.M.E.S Program advertising? This is why the Gazetto is soft on McThug in their stories. The Gazetto is pro McThug policy.

These young adults are just another version of "why you should live somewhere that isn't good enough for people like us". Remember, McThug had the police commissioner etc. available "to answer questions" at the inauguration of his stupid program? What question would anyone ask them? If they refuse to live here, that speaks way louder than anything they could possibly say.
Most Union College students are not from the area. Just because someone is in graduate school it doesn't make them smarter or more knowledgeable than someone who actually lives here. If the voters did not listen to Roger Hull, why does McThug think potential homebuyers will listen to these students?Or maybe that's it - maybe he is trying to use Union College AGAINST Roger Hull, by getting some inexperienced individuals to come up with some nonsense report that supports that ridiculous program. Yeah, if Roger continues to speak against it, McThug will just say, "Your own college says it's a good program!"

Madam X you are right on the money! This is the weak argument McThug will try and use on Roger Hull in 2015. This is why McThug has enlisted the help of these naive students to use them as a politcal pawn for McThug own political gain at Union College's expense. This is the mantra with the DEMS and McThug form a group and impose their will on the majority of the population. They have done so with the Guyanese in Schenectady led by Philip Fields and John Mootoorooven and the Guyanese Association of Schenectady. Now McThug and company is bringing in UNION COLLEGE in to the fold.

The numbers will convince voters that this H.O.M.E.S Program is a FAILURE. McThug can pull all the rabbits out of his hat it doesn't change the fact that SCHENECTADY IS WORST OFF TODAY THAN WHEN HE TOOK OFFICE!

Oh that's perfect for DV to cheer about and claim the mayor and his dem team are doing a wonderful job.

So, DV, is it a good thing that a house sold 25 years ago for about $90,000 and today the house MIGHT sell for less!

WOW, it's been for sale for OVER TWO YEARS AND NO BUYERS!!!!

DV, can you tell us why houses in Schenectady are worth LESS THAN what they were worth under the republicans?????

If you DARE blame the "real estate crisis" then please explain why home values and sale prices in Schenectady continue to go down under the dem leadership while outside the city home sale prices are increasing and homes are selling like hotcake.

Oh of course, DV won't reply because for one thing he pretends to have us blocked, secondly, he will NEVER address the TRUE FACTS that are based on OFFICIAL EVIDENCE.

The cowardly cuckoo DV will NOT reply....that is a GUARANTEE.  (unless he spews nonsense babble)
