"So far it is all gain and no pain for the Kentucky Republican as he heads into a near-certain 2016 presidential campaign.... Yet as attention shifts to his views on domestic policy, he will have to make some tough decisions: move away from positions that would alienate moderates, independents and traditional Republicans, or stay true to his principles and end up like his father, Ron Paul -- a niche candidate who energized many but never won the White House, the GOP nomination or even a single 2012 primary."

For all the Ron/Rand Paul groupies... here's an update:
Rand Paul says the Republican Party is like bad pizza crust, and that like Dominoes, they should just admit it and fix the problem.
"Remember when Domino’s finally admitted they had bad crust? Think Republican Party. Admit it; bad crust. We need a different kind of party," Paul said referring to an advertising campaign by the pizza chain. “The Republican Party needs to either evolve, adapt or die.”

So far, every time Randy reaches out to minorities... he's managed to smack em in the face. His "outreach" program has been ongoing for at least 1 year. It's usually ended with more minorities against him than before the program!

A group of Republican donors is pledging to stop the tea party favorite from winning the 2016 presidential nomination because of his more non-interventionist views on foreign policy
LAS VEGAS—Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul is hard at work laying the groundwork for an almost-certain presidential campaign in 2016, but as he broadens his support among libertarian and younger voters, there’s a budding counter-campaign to take him down if he becomes a threat to actually win the nomination.
At the Republican Jewish Coalition meeting in Las Vegas this weekend, Paul was nowhere to be found, but his presence was felt in the form of a straw man—and frequent worry. Speaker after speaker, from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, laid into Paul’s more isolationist views on foreign policy beliefs. They never mentioned the lawmaker by name, but the message came across loud and clear. - See more at: http://xrepublic.tv/node/8225#sthash.XBzEhR5P.dpuf
