On the sale of one's house in Schenectady.
5 Morris Ave a "historic district house."
Owner buys it in 2009 in valid open market sale FOR $242,000
Sells it for $133,000 in 2913.
Who says the city is in a renaissance?????? Is a loss of $90,000 in just four short years indicative of a city in a renaissance? Wondering how those who claim the city is in a renaissance will answer this one (oh, they won't provide an answer).

They have problems over there. It still looks nice, but the surrounding area is bad, even Union Street. BS just whined that he didn't have enough money to flood the area with cops. Can you imagine what houses on a street like that would go for, in a halfway decent city? |
