This Sunday is another one of the mayor's gala tour of houses.  There is a house which has been art of the tour several times.  It's 1700 Guilderland Ave

What's wrong with the city?????????

The city is in a renaissance!   The mayor and his dem team are doing a wonderful job.

So the city states this house would sell for $143,000.  The house was listed for slae asking $149,000 back oin September 2012.  YES 2012!!!!! ALMOST A YEAR AND A HALF AGO!!

The asking price is now down to $99,000. that's five, count them FIVE price reductions!

The house is on the gala bus tour this Sunday.

Oh, we are just "nayboobs" that speak nonsense?????   Ha, on the contrary, we speak the TRUTH, we p[resent the FACTS and we have overwhelming EVIDENCE to support what we post here.  Those who praise the mayor and his team have never provided any evidence and refuse to speak  about the facts we produce

I guess the city will go make sure that any street with an open house will be plowed super good, you think?

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Who is even taking these tours? DVOR and his "extended family"? Are they still featuring department heads, ready to answer your questions about why you should live in a place which isn't good enough for them?

let me tell you...the city is in deep do do.....coming after me for a ticket since 2001......and someone else was driving....I know the law so don't quote it..

but circumstances do not warrant me paying it......notices were sent...but someone confiscated them before I saw them......

now 13 years later I have an ultimatum.....pay up or won't be able to register a vehicle.....someone slipped and now they are collecting and forcing a

payment after 13 years....is the city that bad off???.

I won't pay it....let them take me to jail......will make sure the media knows first.....harrassment....and really an embarrassment to all Schenectady residents....

I don't agree with violating laws and regulations, generally, but someone tell me why citizen A has to pay a parking ticket OR ELSE, while citizen B can merely state that she has no driveway so forget about posted parking regulations, she's too important for that, and viola! no enforcement. If one gets a free pass, so should another.
Besides, one of the reasons the city is "that bad off" is because of the money-sucking black hole downtown that supplies fat salaries to some connected types who are too good to walk a block.
A municipality has no business arbitrarily and capriciously enforcing its parking regs.
