A Schenectady man faces charges after police say he had inappropriate verbal and physical contact with an 11-year-old girl he met on Facebook.

Police say Joshua Loso arranged to meet the girl at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. He was arrested about 90 minutes later at the Stewart's on Route 146 in Halfmoon and charged with child endangerment.

Loso was sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail. He's scheduled to re-appear in court, later this month.

where is the protect and serve part - there looks to be no protect or serve here

an 11 year old out at 3:30am would be in need of some protection

it sounds as if the cops are just as guilty of damaging this young lady as the accused

the assumption is that the 'authorities' will do right.....and if it goes wrong it's just accepted that sometimes this happens..

Perhaps he was at the girl's house, and then went to the Stewart's. She might not have been out at all. Her parents may have been asleep.
Children should not have unsupervised access to the internet. They should not hang out with unsupervised friends with access either.
