It's called Cotton something, over 890

Interesting, McC and his wonderful team are keeping it hush hush?????

Musn't let the residents, i.e, the TAXPAYERS, know.

Keep flushing the taxpayers money down the downtown toilet bowl.

Spend the taxpayers money on UNNECESSARY "FANCY" lighting on Erie blvd - there IS NOT ONE VALID REASON to have that stupid lighting, not the least bit necessary

But maintaining roads and bridges in the city, no, this dem deam won't spend money on the VITAL ESSENTIAL ABSOLUTE NECESSITIES.

Cut snow plowing, spend money on gold ceiling for Proctrs.
Cut maintenance of roads and bridges and spend money on stupid fancy light posts.
Put long time taxpaying businesses out of business by exempting millionaires and billionaires from paying taxes.

And no cheerleader can provide even one shred of evidence that the city is improving, not a shred of evidence that the tax base is improving, not a shred of evidence to prove that people want to buy and live in the city, not a shred of evidence that peoples homes are increasing in value, not a shred of evidence that city taxpayers are getting a return on their "forced" investment.

They don't run the city, they run the private members-only club that is downtown.
There were a couple of guys over in Central Park today, clearing off some of the ice so they could skate. Why is there a vehicle parked at the administration building there daily, and lights on? Why can't we have skating if there is someone there? No bridge, no skating, inadequate snow removal, yet our taxes went UP, not down. They are letting the whole city "go", because they don't like it.

They're going to close suicide bridge?!?!  That means ALL the hooligans from MP middle school will be crossing over the Michigan Ave bridge. Great idea! And the traffic getting off 890 and down Brandywine each morning is all ready a nightmare.

I've heard that there are places in America, where they take the money they charge you to live there, and they use it to pay for things you need and use. Like bridges, and roads. I've heard they even remove snow and ice from the roads, so you won't wreck your car. Do you think it's true? There's this thing called government, and you pay the people who work for it, and even if they aren't the people you personally would have picked, they still HAVE TO DO THE THINGS YOU PAY THEM TO DO.

The Cotton Factory bridge is open, I drove on it this morning. Perhaps it was temporarily closed?
