I only glanced at the story but the gazette has this big headline about pilots up.  

McC and his dems and plex must be running SCARED thus putting some splashy headline in.

But WHY do they REFUSE to explain how much money the homeowners are paying in extraordinarily high tax bills due to what would otherwise be the LOST REVENUE because the ultra rich millionaire political cronies of the dems.

Galesi, Paul Mitchell, the Hiltons, they are all BILLIONAIRES, So WHY do the dems refuse to make them pay the taxes they can well afford to pay in full?   Why must poor financially struggling homeowners with incomes of $40,000 pay higher taxes to make up for what the billionaires are not paying.

In return for paying the taxes of the billionaires, what are the homeowners getting?   Are their home values increasing?   Is the city becoming a more affordable place to live?   What about the newer homeowners who are underwater on their mortgages because their homes are worth less than what they owe on their mortgages?   Where are the snow emergency declarations?  Where are the city employees flocking to live IN the city?   Why isn't McC mandating all the dept heads move into the city?   Why isn't McC mandating that all cops, firemen, and all city employees pay city taxes by living IN the city?  Why is McC making poor peoples pay the taxes of the ultra rich?   What about the DRASTIC REDUCTION in the city's tax base?   Wht about the DRASTIC INCREASE in foreclosures because the families cannot afford to pay the taxes of the rich?   What about the DRASTIC INCREASED in vacant EXISTING residential units?  

There is so much bad news fro mthe city, it more than offsets this "pilot incrase" so the town-resident-board-cheerleader-for-the -city -dems and their WILD UNCONTROLLED SPENDING on downtown is avoiding posting on these boards anymore, it's too embarrassing to admit being wrong.

Okay, good news, PILOTS up, where is the tax cut to the rest of us? Wait, taxes went up? How does that work? That paper is shameless.
Here we have all these finger pointing stories on Detroit, Stockton, Scranton, Bell, etc. and we have a local paper cheering for what is going on down at Proctor's. There it was, in black and white, the money sucking black hole patronage mill, and no one who has been cheering for this will admit they were wrong. I'm not talking about the village idiot, either. I mean various civic leader types who supported this. It may have been well-intentioned by SOME, in the first place, but my God, what does it take to stand up and say, "this is wrong!"?
