ALBANY — Brandi Hensman, 31, of Albany, was sentenced to 2 1/3 to 7 years in state prison in Albany County Court after she pleaded guilty last month to a felony conspiracy charge, county prosecutors said.

On June 21, near Colby Street and Hunter Avenue in Albany, Hensman and Nicholas Lewis, 18, of Albany, confronted a person Hensman had argued with earlier in the day. At Hensman's urging, Lewis stabbed the victim 11 times and they drove off, District Attorney David Soares' office said. The victim was hospitalized and recovered.

Lewis pleaded guilty to a violent felony assault last month and faces seven years in state prison and three years of post-release supervision at his Jan. 6 sentencing. http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Woman-gets-prison-for-urging-stabbing-5082206.php

In Schenectady, she wouldn't be doing any jail time.
