....front page big headlines in today's Gazette.

All those unshoveled sidewalks.  Gee, homeowners lose their homes because of having to pay Proctor's taxes on top of giving Proctors 10's of millions of taxpayer dollars in handouts from various levels of government, King Philip gets paid close to a quarter of a million (roughly equaling the pay out from the county to Proctors), and the city has no money to shovel sidewalks on the properties of those that people left who couldn't afford to pay the taxes.

Do we see a problem here?

And let's not forget all the other rich downtown having their taxes paid by the homeowners, and then GE's gets their taxes paid by the homeowners starting within the past few years.

So, just what are the city homeowners and taxpayers getting as a return on their forced investment?

Oh, but the mayor and his dem team are doing a "wonderful job" in the city, huh?

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to give the bums $10 an hour to shovel?

Or use the jailbirds, but somebody still has to coordinate, that would be too much like work. Personally, I am tired of hearing, from someone paid $90,000 bucks, what he can't do. If the job is too big for you, step aside.

The irony is thicker than the snow. The oppressed County taxpayers paid thousands to heat Proctor's Power Plant/Catering Hall sidewalk. Of course this is a major problem. Not the pit bulls, incompetents running City Hall, Nisky Brucker who still sits on the do nothing Council months after fleeing Woodlawn. So what if no one walks on the sidewalks
anyway-Florida snowbirds should waste more money shoveling for nonexistence pedestrians.
