These narrow side streets in the Upper Union area were left messy and hazardous. Effort was expended, on plowing, but much of the effort was wasted through lack of coordination. Like everything else in the city. Did you know, there are these things called computers nowadays, imagine, you can map out what streets have been done, on which side, which intersections need another pass, etc. Or, you could just use a street map and radios. The trouble with that is, you still need somebody at the top, directing. When that person is preoccupied with hobbies like hawking worthless real estate to unsuspecting buyers, we suffer. It also doesn't help that the people out in the street don't know where they are, because they don't live here. |
