My street hasn't been plowed at all. Up until a few weeks ago, I worked every other weekend. Today would have been my day. I would have ended up with a disciplinary mark against me, there's no way I could make it anywhere.
Why do I bother to pay taxes? I get nothing of value for my money. |

Given the choice between 'mowing' or 'snowblowing', I'll take the snow any day! I LOVE SNOW!!! |

I used to love snow. We have one @#%!* household nearby where they seem to believe that since they filled their garage with crap, and only have driveway room for one car, they are entitled to leave their other car on the street. Now other neighbors will have trouble getting in and out of their driveways until the snow melts. It's too bad that we don't have some sort of entity we could pay, and that entity would see to it that the roads were cleared to the curb, and maybe see to it that anyone leaving their car parked illegally would be ticketed, if not towed. There is a narrow swath plowed down the middle of my street, they haven't mastered the one side, then the other, technique, but even if they did, one car would mess it up for everybody on one end of my block. I remember a time when Schenectady had the cleanest streets around. Now even Albany has better plowing. |

I like snow like this storm, so fluffy white, everything beautiful and quiet. It's better for the environment in this part of the country, as well, to have that layer of snow on the ground. I also like the convenience of this particular storm, snowing overnight when traffic could be light, all done now, so we can go out and play in it. |
