More money to be taken from the financially struggling homeowners, the cheerleader (s) has fled these boards as the truth is coming out ore and more.

And this is going to be the next secret.   Hey, this is the TAXPAYERS money, we have the right to know, they MUST divulge the issues about these "negotiations"  But typical dem party, HUSH HUSH

Ah, another song for Graham.  "There's a kind of hush"

Don't forget this affects all taxpayers in the county - we who write the checks out.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Schenectady County Attorney Chris Gardner would not provide details on the negotiations but said they are "delicate."

I don't quite get it, BS ended the payment for the unpaid taxes illegally, so they owed a million, but I don't understand why they couldn't go ahead and legally end the payment in the future.
Remember that ridiculous "in the black" story in the paper?
Let's see, this time last year we owed something like 20 million for the Taj Garaj, and were facing higher interest payments. I don't think that anything changed with that.
Does anyone else not understand why negotiations between elected officials of the same party are so "delicate" that we aren't being informed of what is going on?
The cheerleader could be on one of his road trips. Who cares, anyway, he made all those asinine "renaissance continues" remarks when that wacky article about the city's finances showed up in the paper, the city is so obviously not in any kind of renaissance it isn't funny. The reason we aren't in a renaissance is that McCheese and co. haven't finished killing the city yet.

Schenectady's problems are because we don't recycle enough. I'll bet this woman sets out all her recyclables properly.

let me just say.....YUP!!!!!! but I don't think it has anything to do with not recycling as much as it has to do with
GE and SI 'improving' our water and social services systems.....

If she works at all, she is eligible for a refund even if she owes no federal taxes. I kind of doubt she works, though, as she appears pretty employment-proof to me.

I noticed recently in the New York papers, there were charges of racial profiling in some of the department stores, Macy's and Barney's, I think. There was a young woman detained because of a "suspicious" debit card purchase. She was a woman in her twenties, pregnant, with a very small child as well, "working her way through college". She spent $2,500 on a single handbag, which aroused the suspicion of debit card fraud. The $2,500 turned out to be "her own money", a TAX RETURN. This is the 'HELP' we give people, money for single working mothers to buy $2,500 HANDBAGS?
