These lawsuits are public, because they involve the courts. You wouldn't expect reporting on them, because they are an everyday occurrence and not newsworthy, but when it involves city government and the city's only newspaper, it becomes worthy of more exposure, doesn't it? Is the Gazette sick of paying the way too high taxes, like the rest of us, for no benefit to their business? Is that why we are seeing articles like that auction one now, pointing out how the tax to value ratio is ridiculous? It would be nice to be informed, wouldn't it? |
