Nothing is stopping them but themselves, they can give whatever they want to their employees, if they have to raise prices they will have a tougher time competing.

What are small businesses waiting for? Raise wages already and stop wasting your time answering dumb polling questions. I think I heard the same thing about gun control, and polls showed overwhelming support for it. Yet it was voted down on a landslide.

Tougher time competing... blah blah blah along with TAX CUTS TAX CUTS TAX CUTS... BLAH BLAH BLAH We all know the failed policy of the Right Wingers from Reagan to the present... So why would the majority... 60 percent of small businesses WANT TO RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE???
Unlike you and the Paul Groupies... Small businessmen see that (as clearly posted above)... raising the minimum wage would increase consumer purchasing power in the economy. AND... small business owners agree that with a higher minimum wage, businesses would benefit from lower employee turnover and increased productivity and customer satisfaction.
If it isn't in the Ron/Rand Paul playbook, it doesn't exist... so Henry will never even be in a position to consider what the majority of small businessmen already agree on... Raising the minimum wage is good for business.

Start giving raises small business. What are they waiting for? They don't need an act of congress to give raises.
It's Cissy's answer to any kind of social change that helps the middle class or the poor. As long as it doesn't take one penny from Cicero's pocket... he's for it. If, after all that was GIVEN to Cissy... all the wasted years of education... all the security of living somewhere other than Somalia... Cissy still only sees one view... "I got mine, screw everyone else"!

What does any of that drivel have to do with your poll claiming small businesses supporting the increase in minimum wage? Is there a law preventing small businesses(or any business) from increasing their starting wages? I'm not sure if you answered that.

Blah Blah Blah... Same ole same ole. It follows your "If you want to pay for a woman's birth control... there is nothing stopping you"... Or "if you want to donate to the IRS, there is nothing stopping you".
Of course Cissy knows the answer. A Universal Living Minimum Wage, would boost the economy and aid the poor at the same time. Cissy is for his continued policy that (G WORST BUSH) used to sink the economy... and Cissy never ever EVER wants any help for the poor. Again... Cissy's motto: "I GOT MINE... SCREW EVERYONE ELSE"!

So businesses know that raising their wages would help in retaining workers, increase consumer purchasing, and boost the economy AND help the poor...and they are waiting until it is a federal law? Interesting.

As stated box what are they waiting for, what exactly is stopping them to giving higher wages? You didn't think this through before posting did you

Noticed box jumped to Rand Paul, Birth control, and the all classic his cartoons. If the majority wants to raise minimum wage they could do so at any time, I don't think box understands that concept

What a higher wage will really be good for are young entrepreneurs. Nothing more beneficial to a start up business to a person with limited capital than expensive labor.
Hey, at least the established small businesses got theirs while the gettin was good...screw the young kids trying to compete.
