Yet Again, Rand Paul Has Problems With The TRUTH!

The Washington Post Gives Rand Paul

Quoted Text
The Pinocchio Test
Paul is basing his critique on Obama on a fallacy. Rather than nine out of 10 businesses
failing, about 50 percent survive four or five years. Even that percentage may be overstated
depending on the definition of “failure.”
Investing in a new business does have a certain level of risk, but it is not nearly as high as
Paul claimed. A senator should avoid repeating such economic myths on television, thereby
perpetuating false impressions.

don't they all....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Again, Rand Paul is Out of Touch with America!

Quoted Text
On Wednesday — two years to the day after George Zimmerman shot and killed
Trayvon Martin — Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) placed a hold on President Barack Obama’s nominee
for Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy, over Murthy’s view that gun violence represents a
significant public health threat.

Paul is actually out of step with most physicians.
The idea that gun violence is a danger to public health is utterly uncontroversial among doctors’
groups, academic institutions that focus on public health, and children’s safety advocates.
Although Paul criticizes Murthy’s position that physicians and pediatricians should ask patients
about the presence of guns in their households, the American Medical Association (AMA)
adopted a resolution in 2011 officially opposing any law that bars doctors from having open
conversations about gun safety and the risks of having firearms in a household with their
patients.

Kentucky's senator Rand Paul, along with Kentucky's congressman Mitch McConnell both oppose
ObamaCare for the people of Kentucky.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid questions Paul/McConnell's commitment to the people they are supposed
to represent in Kentucky:

Quoted Text
“My counterpart, the senior senator from Kentucky, will address the Senate probably
after I finish. In his home state of Kentucky, 360,000 people have signed up for coverage
under the Affordable Care Act. Three hundred and sixty thousand. Over a quarter million
Kentuckians who did not have insurance now have health care under the Affordable Care
Act. Or, in other words, Obamacare has reduced the uninsured population in Kentucky by
40 percent. I wonder when my friend from Kentucky will explain to the 270,000 Kentuckians
how he plans to repeal the law without stripping their new health benefits.”

I'm sure many will be grateful not having to be forced into buying something they might not want or need, going by Obamacare approval ratings Rand Paul will likely see a surge in popularity

Right from the start, Kentucky was an ObamaCare success story.
I can't wait for a rally when Randy Paul tells these people, some who are insured for the first time
in their life, that he's going to take away their health care insurance.

My State Needs Obamacare. Now.
(NY Times)
Quoted Text
Before ObamaCare, Kentucky, a state where residents’ collective health has long been
horrendous.
The state ranks among the worst, if not the worst, in almost every major health
category, including smoking, cancer deaths, preventable hospitalizations, premature
death, heart disease and diabetes.

And even with all these health problems, Randy Paul will fight to take away Kentuckians
health care plan.
What a guy!!!

Then why did the 1/4 million uninsured Kentuckians sign up for ObamaCare???
Why did 360,000 join what you say they don't want... in a RED STATE?

Why is Kentucky one of the most successful State ObamaCare exchanges???

The people of Kentucky voted for ObamaCare early and often... in spite of
the opposition from their Republican congressmen and Senators.

Because they will be fined for not doing so, obamacare is by force not willing participation. By the way Obamacare now holds the lowest approval ratings ever

CNN Poll: Support for Obamacare slightly edges up

According to the poll, 39% of Americans say they support the health care law, up from
35% in December, a record low in CNN polling. The uptick of four percentage points is
within the survey's sampling error. Fifty-seven percent of those questioned say they
oppose the measure, down five points from December.

So what does it mean that so many oppose ObamaCare???
"Not all of the opposition to the health care law comes from the right," said CNN
Polling Director Keating Holland. "Thirty-nine percent say they oppose the law because it's too liberal,
but 12% say they oppose it because it's not liberal enough."

How Rand Paul Bailed on His Bold Plan to
Reform Big-Money Politics in Washington

As a candidate, he touted a proposal to curb the influence of lobbyists and donors.

As a senator, he shelved that plan—and accepted contributions from influence peddlers.
