LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Rand Paul was talking with University of Louisville medical students when one of them tossed him a softball. "The majority of med students here today have a comprehensive exam tomorrow. I'm just wondering if you have any last-minute advice."(Steve Brodner)
"Actually, I do," said the ophthalmologist-turned-senator, who stays sharp (and keeps his license) by doing pro bono eye surgeries during congressional breaks. "I never, ever cheated. I don't condone cheating. But I would sometimes spread misinformation. This is a great tactic. Misinformation can be very important."
He went on to describe studying for a pathology test with friends in the library. "We spread the rumor that we knew what was on the test and it was definitely going to be all about the liver," he said. "We tried to trick all of our competing students into over-studying for the liver" and not studying much else.
"So, that's my advice," he concluded. "Misinformation works."

The Washington Times said Tuesday that it had independently reviewed Mr. Paul’s columns and op-eds and published a correction to his Sept. 20 column in which the senator had failed to attribute a passage that first appeared in The Week. The newspaper and the senator mutually agreed to end his weekly column, which has appeared each Friday since the summer. “We expect our columnists to submit original work and to properly attribute material, and we appreciate that the senator and his staff have taken responsibility for an oversight in one column,”

You knew who else was charged with plagiarism, that's right our president, and guess who started the controversy, Hillary Clinton. Did box cry about that, I doubt it What box doesn't want to admit is nobody cares if someone used a line from Wiki, people are worried about REAL problems and want REAL solutions.

What was Obama's response to the plagiarism charge?
Quoted Text
During a news conference here, Mr. Obama said he and Mr. Patrick “trade ideas all the time.” Asked if he should have given credit to Mr. Patrick, he said, “I’m sure I should have.” “I’m happy to give Deval credit, as I give to a lot of people for spurring all kinds of ideas,” he said. “But I think it’s fair to say that everything we’ve been doing and generating excitement and the interest that people have had in the elections is based on the core belief in me that we need change in America.”
What was Rand Paul's response? IT WAS MY STAFF'S FAULT!
I seem to remember another Paul... Daddy Paul running from his words in a racist newsletter... He blamed his staff too. Must be a family trait!

Point being nobody cared and him using a line didn't cost him anything, just like this won't effect Rand Paul.

The Paul's are irrelevant...Jr senator, and former congressman that accomplished nothing. .01%
Yup amazing Box is so addicted to this family, which according to him have zero chance, I wonder why he is so afraid of them

The effects of Rand Paul's Plagiarism on his 2016 campaign has yet to be determined. The more examples of Paul's Plagiarism that surface, and the more times he blames others for his crimes, the more lasting the effect in 2016.

If you look at the recent string of "Crazies" shooting up military installations, schools and airports... We'd all be wise to have some apprehension of "Crazies" with radical fringe views.

It seems the only ones who care about this are the people who were never going to vote for him anyways, thus why this story is only big with the leftist

HUH! Maybe you are on to something Henry. Check with the OATHCREAPERS and see if they are recruiting Veterans into their Right Wing Anti America Group!

"If he were at my school, he would have been expelled because of the honor code. It's a lot more serious than the 'Aqua Buddha.'"
Sen. Rand Paul's handling of recent plagiarism charges adds doubts about his readiness for a presidential campaign, some observers said Wednesday.
Stuart Rothenberg, editor and publisher of the nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report, called Paul's response to the controversy a warning sign if the Kentucky Republican and tea party favorite were to decide on a White House bid. "It raises questions about how he will handle being under the microscope,"

My statement stands, when reading the comments from a non-partisan site most don't care 1 bit. One comment was "does Obama read a list of credits at the end of his speeches", since it is a fact Obama doesn't write his speeches why doesn't he give out credit to his speech writers Yeah that's what I thought boxy

Most US Presidents HIRE speech writers to prepare a speech on a topic. They then re write or edit the speech, then present the speech. They PAID for the speech as written. They didn't do what Rand Paul did and STEAL it from someone else.
All Rand Paul would have had to do is acknowledge or attribute his speech to the source. He didn't, then denied that he stole it, then blamed his staff for stealing it, then sorta' admitted that he stole it but said it was a mistake. (Yea right).
Had Randy Paul just said... oops! I made a mistake by not attributing the words to the author, there would be little controversy. Instead he blamed the press, his staff, everyone but himself.
Rand Paul is the Lance Armstrong of Politics!
