guess some nasty weather headed our way everyone stay safe.
I don't do good with storms, anxiety goes through the roof. plus my son is having oral surgery today, he has neuro and a heart issue and I'm a nervous wreck as they are using IV sedation.

I know it's easier said than done.....but don't worry. Worrying will shorten your life and it doesn't solve anything!!
I know....I was the champ of worry!!
My best to you and your son and be safe!

Son went through surgery ok : ) Now the recovery, hoping he has little pain and not much swelling. He's been sleeping a lot. Went to Price Chopper when we left the hospital to get his pain meds and that's when the rain/wind hit, sounded like the roof was going to cave in. McClellan St was like a river.
Spetacular skies this evening, weren't they? The key with the medicine after oral surgery is do not wait and see how bad the pain gets before taking the pills. It is much easier to prevent the pain than to stop it once it really gets going. Just resting for as long as possible is the best thing. At least that has been the experience of one of the men in my family, and he's pretty wimpy when it comes to dental things.
Yes the sky was beautiful, also the "lighting' was almost surreal.
I started the Motrin as soon as we got home, last night he rated his pain at a 6 gave more Motrin and it helped. They also prescribed a heavy duty narcotic for pain, but even the pharmacist said "I wouldn't give the dose prescribed, but it in half" So hoping we won't even have to use it.
